Mr. Smith previously worked at Barclays, where he served as U.S Head of Institutional Corporate Marketing and most recently as a Senior Relationship Manager. In that capacity, he was responsible for developing and managing corporate relationships as well as overseeing the firm’s U.S. based dedicated sector teams. Mr. Smith joined Barclays following the firm’s acquisition of Lehman Brothers in 2009. At Lehman Brothers, he jointly managed the firm’s New York institutional equity sales desk and oversaw the desk’s equity corporate access efforts. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1997, he worked in the institutional equity sales group for Dean Witter Reynolds and was a member of the firm’s Stock Selection Committee. A highly experienced financial services professional, Peter Smith started his Wall Street career as an equity research analyst at J&W Seligman and Co.
