In the conversation, Ms. Snow emphasized that preparation is the foundation of public company success. Companies should practice forecasting, closing the books, reporting results, and rehearsing earnings calls to build the “muscle memory” required to consistently deliver on commitments.

She also spoke about the importance of creating optionality. By preparing for an IPO, companies strengthen their position not only in the public markets but also in potential M&A or private equity transactions. Optionality provides leverage, and leverage leads to optimized outcomes.

The discussion also highlighted today’s healthier market dynamics. With both investors and issuers exercising greater discipline, the IPO environment is shifting toward a “sweet spot” where valuations are more balanced.
